Completing this scheme on behalf of Seren Park Gardens RTM Company Ltd is Equans and Martin Arnold, details on their roles and responsibilities can be found below:

Martin Arnold Ltd – Contract Administrator

Martin Arnold are the designers of the cladding remedial works. Martin Arnold will project manage the works on behalf of Seren Park Gardens RTM Company Ltd and administer the formal building contract between Seren Park Gardens RTM Company Ltd and Equans. Martin Arnold will also have a daily Clerk of Works on site who will be inspecting the quality of the workmanship.

Equans - Contractor

Equans has been successfully appointed to undertake the removal and replacement of the existing external cladding at Seren Park Gardens.

As per Seren Park Gardens RTM Company Ltd requirements, the cladding panels will be removed and replaced in sections and instalments, ensuring each flat remains watertight at the end of each working day.

HAUS

HAUS Block Management are the property managers on behalf of Seren Park Gardens RTM. If you have cladding related questions to ask HAUS, please make contact through the HAUS portal on http://h-portal.co.uk or sign up to the portal if you have not already done so.

  • April Newsletter

    This months issue of the newsletter is now available on the microsite HERE. This months issue covers a general update on works progress and some details on the scaffold works.

  • Cladding Removal - What you need to know

    From the 5th of May we will begin the removal of the existing timber and render cladding from the 2nd and 3rd floors of section 1 part of section 4 (the section that faces the woodlands) and section 2. Properties 99-153, not included in these works. These works will be taking place within the broken line sections shown on the section of works plan HERE. We anticipate these works to be completed in approximately 8 weeks.

    To facilitate these works access will be required onto your balcony if it faces the woodland or Leamington Court. We will be working directly on your balcony and around lounge and bedroom windows, for your privacy please keep curtains and blinds closed. Could you please ensure that all personal belongings i.e., bicycles, plants, garden sets, etc. are cleared to allow for works. Please be advised that EQUANS cannot accept responsibility for any damage caused to items that have not been cleared.

    Please note only EQUANS employees and their representatives are permitted on the scaffolding. Under no circumstances and for your own safety no other persons should climb onto the scaffold, this also applies to children. We advise any unauthorised persons accessing the scaffolding outside of our normal working hours, which are Monday to Friday 8-5pm should be reported immediately to the Police.

  • Site Closure - Easter Break

    EQUANS will be closing for the Easter break on Thursday 14th April at 5pm and re-opening Tuesday 19th April 2022

    In the event of an emergency directly related to works carried out by EQUANS please call our out of hours emergency number 0800 320 443

    Any unauthorized persons accessing the scaffolding outside of our normal working hours of Monday to Friday 8am-5pm should be immediately reported to the Police.

  • Scaffolding Works

    Scaffolding works have now commenced. This will be done in phases. For the next two, to four weeks, we will begin with sections A1 and B1 shown in the site plan HERE

  • First resident's update

    Welcome to your first resident's update for Seren Park Gardens.

    EQUANS has been appointed by Haus to undertake refurbishment works to six buildings at Seren Park Gardens. This will include the removal and replacement of the existing external cladding and introduction of internal compliance works. We expect to complete the works by September 2023.

    As per Haus requirements, for each building the cladding panels will be removed and replaced in sections and instalments, ensuring each flat remains watertight at the end of each working day. Other associated works will be carried out over the duration of this scheme including electrical inspections and testing, balcony deck renewals and communal decorations including new carpets.

    The EQUANS site office is based at the end of Restell Close by the entrance of the railway station (see picture below).

    We are currently in the process of commencing exploratory works to the existing cladding required for the correct dimensions in preparation for the scaffold erection.

  • New name same faces!

    New name, same faces!

    Many of you will know us - our company and our people - as ENGIE, so we'd like to update you on a recent change of name to EQUANS and confirm that we're still the same people delivering the same work.

    Launched in July 2021, EQUANS brings together ENGIE's UK & Ireland services-led activity under a new brand. All of ENGIE's UK & Ireland activity in technical services & facilities management, energy efficiency and regeneration are now part of EQUANS. So, be reassured that if you start to see EQUANS on some of your communications - it's still us!
