Beyond Housing Energy Efficiency Improvement Project (Wave 2)

Update: We're delighted to confirm that work has commenced in Teesside, with loft insulation and Radbots (Radbots are a new type of thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) that continually adjusts to how you use a room, optimising the heat pattern to keep you warm and save energy by using AI) being fitted. Scaffolding is also going up on various properties in readiness for solar panels being installed.

Beyond Housing have been successful in a recent bidding round to secure Social Housing Decarbonisation Funding to carry out energy efficiency improvements to properties that qualify because they have an existing low energy rating score. The measures will be designed to bring the property in line with the target SAP or EPC C rating, this is a national target set for all housing stock.

We can advise all surveys have now been undertaken and we are in a position to proceed with the energy efficiency improvements that have been recommended for homes across the Teesside and North Yorkshire areas. Equans, the Contractor working with Beyond Housing to deliver the improvements will be in touch in the forthcoming weeks to organise a convenient appointment to call at your home to discuss the measures, which will include how to prepare and also draft timescales for works.

The program will be delivered over a six month period therefore timescales will vary depending on location.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Debbie direct on the contact details listed on the side bar of the screen or complete the Ask us a question below.

  • Volunteering Day at Footprints in the community Redcar

    supporting image

Debi and Graeme spent the morning with the lovely team from Footprints, sorting and packing the food donations into the relevant areas ready for the team to pick and prepare the goods to be sent to the 9 foodbanks that Footprints provide for.

Footprints also extends its support to First Steps, a wonderful initiative providing pre-loved baby and children’s clothing for ages new-borns to 6 years, including coats and footwear.

In addition to clothing, First Steps supplies essential baby equipment—everything from sterilisers and bottles to larger items like pushchairs, cots, and high chairs. Whenever possible, they also provide toiletries, nappies, and age-appropriate toys, ensuring families receive the support they need during those crucial early years.

A truly invaluable service making a difference in the community!
