Works update - North West Team - August 2023
We're pleased to provide an overview and update for the works currently being delivered by our North West team.

Scope of works being delivered:
- Windows and doors
- Roofline amendments
- Balcony works
- External and internal decorations
- Kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
Impact from works:
- Improved ventilation
- Less heat loss
- Nosie reduction
- Reduction of condensation, mould and damp
Project progress:
Progress is continuing to achieve programme. We commenced in April 2022, with a target completion of December 2023.
Completed social value initiatives:
- Specialise qualification sponsorship - £497.33
- Work experience for two students
- Financial contribution towards digital devices - £1,600
- Clarion Futures donation - £1,400
- Contractor engagement - £200 foodbank donation
- Provision of equipment or services - £1,600
Planned social value initiatives:
- Apprenticeship & job starts: Will be difficult to achieve in this within our current contract but we are actively sharing employment opportunities for job starts with Clarion on a monthly basis
- Accredited training: First aid course planned for October/November - details to be confirmed
- Sponsorships & donations: Target achieved
- Digital Training: Digital mentoring sessions with Equans Bid, Marketing and Business Planning teams planned for September/October
- Contractor engagement: Macmillan Coffee Morning planned at Thornhill Gardens on 29th September. Food/gift donation to local foodbank for Christmas planned for November/December
- Staff volunteering: Clearing overgrown area in Manchester planned for September
