Team achieves full marks for Considerate Constructors Scheme audit

After receiving their third audit from the Considerate Constructors Scheme this month, the Glengall Road site team have achieved top marks for the second time!

The team achieved the full 15 marks possible in each of the three categories of 'Respect the Community', 'Care for the Environment' and 'Value their Workforce', achieving an impressive score of 45/45 for the second time.

On 9th August, a CCS monitor joined Site Manager, Josh, and Project Manager, Alex, for an on-site tour to carry out their 3rd audit of the site, commenting things like "Overall, the site demonstrated excellent practices across the checklist to meet the Code of Considerate Practice. The team has established a good relationship with the local community and is tracking well against ambitious targets - as set out in their comprehensive Employment and Skills Plan.

"The team's passion for the scheme and dedication to making a positive impact on the community are a clear driving force behind the project's outstanding achievements and high score."

The CCS is an independent organisation founded to raise standards in the construction industry to ensure all construction sites present an image of competent management, efficiency, awareness of environmental issues and above all neighbourliness. Monitors from the scheme regularly audit our sites to ensure we are adhering to the scheme’s Code of Considerate Practice which is designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirement.

Each audit is split into three categories; respect for the community, protecting the environment and valuing the workforce each with a potential score out of 15 with a total combined max score of 45 available. To score above 13 in any category warrants an excellent level of achievement for that category.

Congratulations to Joshua, Alex and the rest of the site team, and well done for achieving top marks again.
