March update from Oliver Connell

Welcome to the latest update from the scheme's primary subcontractor, Oliver Connell & Son.

Progress on site: The enabling phase of the project is progressing well, the existing structure has been demolished with 90% of the demolition waste recycled.

Site have commenced the removal of the existing concrete slab/foundations to allow the installation of the piling mat. The concrete is being recycled on site to produce the piling mat.

This is possibly the most disruptive element of the works, however site are taking all possible measures to minimise disturbance.

The slab is to be broken out in large sections and water is being used to suppress dust. The concrete slab is planned to be removed by week ending 27th March.

Our working hours are Mon-Fri 8am-6pm and Saturdays 8am-1pm.
