Site team stand down for International Safety Week 2023

The Glengall Road site team undertook a safety stand down in October as part of Equans' International Safety Week 2023 with a specific focus on fall hazards.

Throughout the week every employee, regardless of their role, comes together to reaffirm their dedication to safety. Through webinars and division-specific emails, we ensure our teams are armed with the knowledge and tools needed to prevent accidents related to working at heights and falling objects.

On 19th October, Site Manager, Joshua Peach was joined by SHEQ Advisor, Mark Armstrong, Trainee Site Manager, Samson Martin and Site Administrator, Ramona Catrut to carry out a site Safety Stand Down with all GPS operatives. Part of the session delivered to the operatives included the Eliminating Working at Height Toolbox Talk with discussions held on equipment currently used on site and their application and safe use.
