February update from Oliver Connell

Welcome to the latest update from the scheme's primary subcontractor, Oliver Connell & Son.

Progress on site: The demolition phase of this project is progressing well. The subcontractors are carefully soft stripping the existing warehouse walls and removing the roofing sheets. Scaffolding is complete to provide protection for works to progress.

What's happening next? Site will be using a mobile crane to cautiously remove the horizontal roof beams to allow the soft strip of the building's fabric to continue. Site will then focus on removing the concrete slab to allow the installation of the piling mat.
