An update on our works - May 2024

Welcome to our latest works update for Iveagh House.

These updates are provided by members of the site team and are always as up to date as possible, however If you have any queries, questions or concerns about the works please contact your appointed Resident Liaison Officer (RLO), Ayo Adagunodo on 07890 630 331.


It is our intention to provide a regular update to the residents at Iveagh House as to what works have taken place and what works are upcoming.

Our progress throughout May:

  • Annex building roof replacement is now complete, scaffold 75% removed
  • We have now completed 2 of the 3 new concrete window surrounds on the Annex building. The 3rd is booked for mid-July
  • Scaffold scheduled to be completely removed by 14th June
  • Last remaining window surround to be done off the ground
  • Annex lightening protection is 90% complete. Once scaffold is removed, pits can be dug and the lightening conductors can be installed
  • The new veranda balconies, electrical works, fire system and brickwork concrete repairs are all ongoing
  • We are 95% complete on all the accessible balconies (full size and Juliet's)
  • AOVs to Annex building stairwell is 95% complete, power up and decorations to follow
  • AOV to north and central staircase is 75% complete
  • Painting of the concrete to the main building is 75% complete, rear elevation is signed off where accessible
  • Pilot flat for kitchen and bathroom fan is complete. Waiting on approval for the go ahead to all

Works due to commence in June:

  • Pilot works for the sprinklers
  • AOV to the south staircase
  • Veranda new insulation and felt
  • First floor toilets to be converted to the new laundry room
  • Lateral mains to be installed for the flats
