Kingfisher Court Resident Newsletter - October 2023

Welcome to your first works update - this is where we will regularly update you on our progress with the works being undertaken at Kingfisher Court.

These updates are provided by members of the site team and are always as up to date as possible, however If you have any queries, questions or concerns about the works please contact your appointed Resident Liaison Officer (RLO), Chantel Burton on 07816 126 935.

Welcome to your October newsletter - this is a way for us to keep you up date with all the work that has been going on so far and what we expect to achieve going forward.

Our progress to date:

We would like to thank residents for their continued patience.

The first lift is completed with all protection and security aspects installed. We are aiming to complete the scaffold works within the next six weeks, weather permitting. As part of these works the scaffolders will commence securing all balcony access with additional scaffold and brick guards.

Security concerns:

We anticipate having the alarm system installed to the scaffolding by the end of next week. Please be vigilant and if you see any individuals on the scaffold, please call the police immediately.

If there should be any issues with the alarm outside of our usual working hours, please call Site Security Services who monitor the system on 0845 880 2690.

Tree cutting:

Unfortunately, we had to cut one tree down to the level required to accommodate the scaffolding for the proposed works. This would will be replaced as a new tree and planted once the works have been completed.

Monthly resident's meeting:

We will confirm to all residents once we have a date for our first monthly resident's meeting.

The meeting will have representatives from both Southern Housing and Equans in attendance and we are eager to interact with all residents.
