Works update - July 2024

Welcome to your resident's update from Equans. This is a great way for us to keep you up to date with all the work that has been going on so far and what we expect to achieve going forward.

As you will be aware, Equans has been appointed by Southern Housing to replace cladding and associated fire remediation works at Whytecliffe Road South.

Our progress so far:

• We have commenced with installations of the new cladding on all elevations, including the abseiling to the northeast elevation
• We are currently in the process of fire remediation works on all external gas flues, kitchen and bathroom extract fans and flexy ducts
• We will continue with commencing the installation of the rain screen cladding

Next month's key steps:

• We are carrying on with the new cladding works to all elevations
• We will be commencing with installing insulation behind the brickwork
• We will commence with the installation of the aluminium decking on the balconies
• We will be painting the balcony handrails and railings

Resident Evening Meeting

We will be holding our next resident meeting via TEAMS on Thursday 22nd August from 6pm. You are all invited and an email invitation will go out to you closer to the time - we look forward to seeing you.
