Hallam Court Works Update - 15th September 2023
Welcome to your latest works update where we regularly update you on our progress with the works being undertaken at Hallam Court.

It is our intention to provide a regular update to residents as to what works have taken place and what works are upcoming. In between these updates the site team will be contacting you to make appointments for any surveys or works that need to be done to the outside of your flat or near your flat.
Our progress to date:
- Rear elevation scaffold has been completed
- Side elevation scaffold adjacent to Strathmore Road still ongoing
- Remedial works to the rear balcony will begin this week
- Works to the respite area has commenced
- No news on when the external wall system works will start - we are waiting for the design to be confirmed, which can takes months to confirm
Windows - We would like to remind everyone to keep their windows closed (due to potential but not anticipated noise/debris/dust etc.) as well as the privacy element. The debris from all of the works is very light and can easily be blown back into your property.
Scaffold Health & Safety Risk - We would like to remind everyone not to smoke on their balconies and throw cigarette butts on the scaffold along with other items such as rubbish, toys etc. Unfortunately, cigarettes and cigarette butts can easily be blown back into the building and/or onto the scaffold or existing cladding and cause a fire.

Reminder: If you have not yet had an appointment carried out with regards to completing a Resident Profile and Pre-Condition Survey, please contact your RLO on 07811 697 686 to arrange a convenient date and time for this to take place.
Respite: Construction on the respite area for residents has commenced. This facility will support our residents for relaxation during the remedial works.
