Welcome to your works update for September, the information below provides an update on the works currently being delivered at Seaton Point.

We are making great progress with the topcoat and the removal of scaffold to the east, south and west elevations and we are currently striking the scaffolding at level 13.

We have also recently signed off level 20 on the north elevation and the scaffolding has been removed.

The team are currently working the topcoat to level 19 and we look to have this handed over by 14th October. Once the scaffold is fully struck down to level 13 the team will then make a start on patching in the scaffold tie holes and once completed we will then be able to start the next topcoat process and cleaning of these levels.

All in all, great progress being made.

Welcome to your works update for August, the information below provides an update on the works currently being delivered at Seaton Point.

We have been progressively striking the scaffold out and we are now down to level 16 on three elevations of the building. We can also confirm that we have installed the last bedroom window within the block so all kitchen and bathroom windows have now been fully installed in all properties.

Our team are currently working on installing the EWI around the winter gardens and continuing to render where possible across the block.

We have also released the ties for our passenger hoist which over the next month, residents will see our team striking out the elevations on the north side of the block.

With external works coming to an end, we're pleased to announce the removal of the scaffold.

Equans' Divisional Director, Tony Elliott celebrated this milestone following a recent visit to Seaton Point. He commented: "After 8 years working on London Borough of Hackney's framework, Equans are commencing the striking of scaffold to our last block under the existing contract at Seaton Point. This scheme has been one of the most challenging projects within the borough for a number of reasons but all the hard work and effort by both the past and present team members has meant that scaffold is starting to come down at a quick pace.

I would like to personally thank Stevie Pitman, Simon Cibulskyte, Sharon Bandelow and Lewis Morrell for their continued work on this difficult project.

As the sun beat down on the new external facade when I visited the block, the surrounding residents can now start to see the iconic building being unwrapped to its former glory for all to enjoy!"

Welcome to your works update for June, the information below provides an update on the works currently being delivered at Seaton Point.

We have been working on the remaining winter gardens to the South West of the block, this includes full re-instatement of the frames/glazing. All builders works have now been completed to the winter gardens on this particular corner. Along with the North East corner, we have now completed all balcony work down to level 4.

Various floors across the North and South are currently being worked on to allow the build up of the Wetherby system which is now ready for top coating down to level 4 - this has involved a number of visits to each property to carry out boiler isolations.

The team have been working on the top three elevations (East/South/West) which have now been completed with the final topcoat along with the mastic being completed and we will be looking to remove the top elevation in the next week.

Our RLO Simona has been making appointments for Ashfords to carry out a window health check and taking care of any minor issue in the same day. The team as a whole are making great progress.

Welcome to your works update for March, the information below provides an update on the works currently being delivered at Seaton Point.

We currently have a team re-instating the capping to the outer roof - this will be completed by 19th April.

Regarding the Winter Gardens, we are continuing to progress with the balconies. Our teams have now stripped down to level six on the south west and north east corners and we are making excellent progress with the intumescent fire painting and the renewal of the new Winter Gardens.

We are receiving great feedback at handover stage with the client regarding the standard of finish with regards to the decorating and window installations. To date we have completed 49 full internal handovers which includes kitchen, bathroom and the Winter Gardens.

Senior Site Manager, Darren Denham has now left the project. Replacing him is new Site Manager, Stevie Pitman.

Welcome to your works update for February , the information below provides an update on the works currently being delivered at Seaton Point.

Throughout February our team have been continuing with the strip outs of the winter garden on the south west corner, levels 21-9. These balconies are under going rebuild works including firestopping, stud walls, plastering, tiling and painting.

North east elevation levels 21-13 have also been stripped and are currently having the new window system installed with building works starting in March 2024.

Planned works for March include:

• Strip out of levels 12-6 on the north east corner from 11th March
• Strip out of levels 8-6 on the south west corner from 18th March

Welcome to your works update for November, the information below provides an update on the works currently being delivered at Seaton Point.

• Winter garden progress to SW corner, started on floor 19 and opened to floor 15 before end of the year
• Lower floor levels to complete to the SE corner and floor 1 on the NW corner
• Two new roofs installed to the 21st floor winter gardens to the NW and SE corners
• Roof replacement 80% complete, upstands and parapet wall details to complete
• Now received access to the flat refusing access so now progress can start on the NE corner. Further blockage below will be issuing access in the next week with one final access to be made within two weeks, then we can start to progress with rendering from the 21st floor down, achieve pigeon control and start to remove scaffolding mid next year - all going well

We have started works on levels 19-15 on the SW corner but started at 19 instead of 21 due to no access.

Fire paint to steelworks has been completed and the first of the aluminium framework to windows has now started.
